Yeah, it would be very nice to manually hit a button that would launch a lifeboat, and then it become a playable rescue vessell. But then again, more work for VSTEP I guess.

Still, would add another element of realism for the larger tankers and such

I think the lifeboat of Agile Soulutions is already a Moving Part but it has no function.
It would be a cool thing if the player could launch the lifeboat or inflate the liferaft

By the time you are in the thing, that 15M launch height might well be less....


On the game side, would this be like the 'realistic sinking' that provided a novelty for all those people who wanted it but ultimately was just that- a novelty to try once or twice.
