Hi nvmaldives12,

I can understand you're very excited about the game, but can you not combine all your thoughts into one or two topics? instead of having several?

The search function will also answer all your questions...just type "Ducky", "Duck", etc...And, if you know how to use the Duck yourself, you can answer your own questions...

Jack.

Do you think Ducky will get a Shipyard Pack?

Thanks, Ballast... I had to ask...

Where, prey tell, did that come from?

And what about the yacht next to it. is that just a static... reminds me a little bit of my own boat (except that one looks like it floats...)

It's one of the easter eggs in the game. I guess the dev's were bored with being serious  ;D

You have to type 'duck' before you select a vessel in freeroaming, and it appears in the fleetlist.

Thanks Ballast  :)

If the developers get bored with being serious ever again, then they could always add in Dover - Calais in the same environment- just for a laugh

Sounds like a good Easter egg to me

I would love to know how much time was spent developing that thing - it is all curvy, no edges - must have been harder then most of the ships, surely

They really need to build a couple of square-ish boats- say Dover - Calais ferries... to compare how difficult it is.

At the risk of hijacking this topic, I have to admit that I always did like those two 'grass hoppers'. Although ours was better than the SeaChance one  ;)

The original Sealink Livery was the best

Maybe we should have a Ducky with Sealink Livery

The Ducky has a maximum speed of 100 knots making it the fastest vessel in Ship Simulator 2008. The horn is     and the bow splash is big. ;D

The Duck does not exist as a Developer's "idle moment", since there is no such thing, ever.  ;D

It exists because before any ships existed in the game, there had to be something with which to test the system. The Duck won the race to be crash-dummy!
