Since we're in small talk...

How did your fascination with Titanic start? Did you research it yourself/told by parents/taught about it in school?

I don't know if it still is taught in the UK, but I was taught about Titanic in primary school (year 4 if I remember correctly). That sparked my imagination, since then, all of my research has been personal. Ever since, I have still never been able to get my head round the sheer scale of the tragedy.

I heard about a huge ship ages ago... the name of that world's most famous ship was Titanic... I did admire the ship's size: 269 meters!!! I thought Titanic then (around 1994-1996) was the biggest ship in the world then... since then I have fallen in love with Titanic :D ;D

I thought it was compacta italic, but I am not 100% sure.

I ran an image with the logo through a font search engine and that's what it came up with.

I saw many different fonts that looked similar, I look at the box of my copy of Ship Simulator 2008 and try to compare, but it's difficult :-\...

Yep there's a wide range of that particular font family.

One is in your windows by default. Called - and I hope I spelled it correctly - Haettenschweiler.

If you use it in PS or PSP, you need to edit it a bit, because it is not Italic.
