A list ( Explanation in english  of all registered swedish ships from steamer to fast speed.
There are specifications and history of  the ships.

Lots of swedish ships during WWII was scuttled ( sunk) by Nazi Seawolves (Submarines - Uboot)  out at the North Sea while go on trade to British Isles with food, timber, coal etc.  no military equipments or weapon.
Though they were hitted by torpedos. The swedish seamen got of course more pay because of the risk, even the swedish flag was seen it was scuttled.

S/S Storskar, built 1908, tripplesteam-engine 660 Hp  (501,6kW),         Brt 235/Dwt 90, 14 knots,
320 passengers, still in traffic, but can't break the thick ice wintertime in the Archipelago (Skerries) of Stockholm, Sweden, so She has to be out of traffic at that time. Storskar = "Bigskerry".
