Hi, and a warm welcome to the game aswell as the forum! :)

Is there anything in particular you would like to know? Most information would be at shipsim.com.

Make sure you register your licence key in your profile when you get the game. You can do this by:

1. Click on "Profile"
2. Scroll down and you will see various boxes under the heading "Licence Key Registration" (or something similar)
3. Copy and paste your SS08 licence key into the SS08 box.

Hope this helps and once again welcome :)

Cheers,
Mike

I have a feeling the game will come to you all updated to the latest version, not entirely sure, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If not at shipsim.com there is a page called "Patches", you can download the latest update there which includes multiplayer.

Providing it is all set up properly, there will be an option on the main menu called multiplayer.

There are various companies, go to Small Talk and look at the topic in bold at the top of the page. Come To Our Fansites and Community Forums. Take a look in there, lots to choose from. :)

Dang, you must work the night shift, haha, go to bed!

Welcome to the forums.

Hope the game works well. I'll let people that aren't as tired as me do the rest.

Where in Texas are you?

Have some friends down there, only been to Houston myself.

Welcome to the forum and game Mark hope you'll enjoy it. Also there are some ships you can download in the shipyard http://shipsim.com/shipyard/shipyard.php?PHPSESSID=836f447063047ff8091a4a4963a54439
The Red Eagle superpack has  just been released. IT contains new radio chatter and new horn and something has been edited with the draft and something with the steering, can't remember what exactly. The Jumbo Javelyn is a free addon which you get a licence key to when you register the SS 08 licence key I think. Btw there is also a addon made for the game named SS new Horizons, it's not free, but contains a couple of new ships and a new environment.
