Regarding the controls: there were no changes to the console in the wheelhouse. Only the controls that float on the lower left hand side of the screen were adjusted.
The workings of the aft controls were fixed, as they had been faulty since day 1. But the look was not changed at all.
If anyone doesn't like them, but wants to keep the rest of the pack, see my post above.
Next week's release will allow you to select each element (controls, horns, etc) so you have complete choice. It will also include a "roll back to original" function.
Thanks for the kind comments Marty and Angus. Much appreciated. Bribe money is in the post.
It takes me around 3-5 days to plan, write, test and adjust each mission.
I try to make sure that the spelling and grammar are correct. I try to make sure that the rogue punctuation is not likely to occur (where Ship Simulator splits the comma from the sentence and places it alone on the next line if it occurs at the border of the dialogue box).
I try to make the vessel movements as realistic as possible, within the confines of the simulator.
I try to make sure that AI appearance and disappearance is done out of sight.
I try to consider all of the potential traps and I try to estimate where users are likely to be with respect to the AI in the area (so as to either make things awkward or make them as realistic as possible).
There are so many things to consider, that there is always something lurking...
I'm pleased with the new dynamics, radio sounds and the new horn as well!
