WHITE STAR LINE
« on: October 15, 2009, 23:28:25 »

WHITE STAR LINE has been remade as a Virtual Transportation Co. (VTC.) Named after the real life White Star Lines, it does better at not sinking its first, second, third, (and so on), ships, has safer ships and some newer types of ships, they have TITANIC II, OLIMPIC II, BRITTANIC IIII, White Lady P&O, and so on, they operate as a VTC on Ship Simulator, It's fun sailing with them. I'M THE CAPTAIN OF MY OUN SHIP! :captain: I'm pretty good at sailing my ship too. Now if they only had a military version of it! :police:

WHITE STAR LINE's site is

It was patriotic of him to name his VTC after a real American steamship company.
White Star was an American company from the time Ismay sold it to J.P. Morgan in 1902 until it was sold to Cunard in the 1930s.

THANKS ALL! I have been on SS for quite a while, so, I'm not new to it, And...
THERE IS ANOTHER VTC WITH STAR LINE IN THE NAME!? :o :o :o
Woah, I never knew that. Well, at least THIS White star line doesn't sink it's ships as soon as they get them.  Also, the real life White Star Line was a Brittish AND American company, and my ancestors were Brittish, Scottish, French, and (OY) German (WWII is why I put "OY"), yet I live in America.

I know their plan wasn't to sink their ships, but somehow, they managed to do it, the captain of the Titanic wasn't taking enough percautions to keep everyone safe, for example.

It wasn't exactly his fault, as he wasn't even on the bridge at the time, plus, it was pretty much all the designers and builder's fault that the death toll was so high, the went for beauty rather than safety...

Gray Star Line is no longer active so it collapsed and Orange Star Line is now Olympus Line, and from this quote of Jeff's:
TITANIC II, OLIMPIC II, BRITTANIC II
These are the Olympus Line's flagships (Olympic II is now Olympus)

Starlines we have
Blue
White
Red
Grey
and Orange

We should have a, "All the Colours of the Rainbow...Starline" :D

Also, Just to reply to the above ^^

Capain Edward J. Smith was a very experienced Master. In fact, it was said he was being paid the most in the world, at that time.

Personally, I think half of it was down to the sheer size of the Titanic, and her sisters, in that time...Take the many incidents all three ships had. I personally think they were all ahead of their time. Maybe you could compare them to Concorde.

Capain Edward J. Smith was a very experienced Master.

The same could be said of a Kamikaze with 35 missions.

There are/were:

Blue, Black, Gold, Grey, Green, Orange, Magenta, Mighty, Pink, Purple, Red, Super, Yellow & other Star Lines.

Some of them are/were "official" with their own forums & were announced on this forum; some were not "official" (without own forums) or just one-day-wonders on MP.

Also, Olimpic II had it's name changed? Oh well, that at least leaves the name Olympic II open for the takeing. :2thumbs:
I SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THE "RAINBOW STAR LINES"! Oh well, Now Rainbow Star Lines can be your's if you want to start a VTC. GOOD LUCK!

I still like him, he's usually very nice.
