I'm already at the Nautical College in Fleetwood, Doing a course.
When I'm 16, I want to go permanately, And start my career.

I've been a fanatic of the sea for as long as I can remember, dad used to bring me out on the boat, and as I grew older, I understood more about the sea...And ships.
So I made the decision that, that's the path I want to follow.

I'm lucky to know the ex. Second Officer of the Stena Leader, that I know very well. He we down on Friday helping me out with Chartwork, and explained certain bits and bobs. He's coming around again to give me some books, and charts, which will help me a lot.

I've also been on the Bridge of the Stena Leader, Since I virtually live next door to the "Front". And, we've often passed her as she sits in the terminal, on the boat. It's an amazing sight!
I've also been on the bridge of the Brittany Ferries Normandie, and the Mont St Michel, while they were at sea.

That's pushed me further, and pretty much everything I do now has something, or other, to do with the Merchant...Or, helping towards getting there.

Jack :)
