I thought that being afloat was the only requirement...  :doh:
Does that mean that I have to scrap my sub?  :doh:

Erm, aren't you a bit too young to sign up for the royal navy?

My first thought of a treat pack was something like a personal bulbous bow...  :doh:

Moving on...
CC, As far as i'm aware the RN has fitness regulation's and if you don't meet them/fail them then you will be asked to leave grey funnel line. The RFA doesn't have fitness regulations (although obviously If the engineroom has to pump ballast off the boat when you walk on, they probobly won't hire you...)  :doh:

I am not sure how it goes in the UK, but over here every person who's joining the navy, airforce or what ever has to follow the basic soldier training. Even if applying for a deskjob!

Mind=blown.
I've just found a proffesional maritime simulator (Similar to Nautis) That costs less, and can do more for prettymuch peanuts. The REALLY amazing bit is the entire thing (graphics,physics etc) are all built on opensource programs, And I mean EVERYTHING, not just the odd bit here and there. i'm not going to post a link incase Vstep get mad...
