And that makes SSE the most expensive game, considering all the upgrading and investing everyone did in new machines

I don't think I can beat that, but I do have rubbish quality  :-\
When they say R.R.P. Of 39 Euros they should put in small print:
*90% of customers will need to add 400€ ontop for a new computer

Not really, the minimun specs clearly stated a videocard with 256 mb dedicated memory. If you try to run it with a 32 mb memory video card, you can't really blame the dev's. Even Stevie Wonder could have seen that it isn't going to work.

Even I am a bit surprised by the fps on SSE, i really thought it would be low on my PC.

Vessel: Protector
Enviroment: New York
Weather: Gentle breeze

Fps was 30 to 40 in Medium settings.

I also tried in High settings (same vessel, environment & weather) which gave me 23-49 fps, however the vessel was a bit 'jerky' on High settings.

I don't use overlocking or anything like that

No it's not their fault
But so far that's how the records gone.

SS08 didn't work so I had to buy a new laptop, now SSE doesn't work  ::)

Oh well!

Oh well!

If it's any consolation to you, I had to upgrade my PC for SSE - new motherboard, new CPU, and new RAM chips (I couldn't use the ones in my old motherboard cos they were DDR2 and my new motherboard only takes DDR3)

Cost me a wee fortune but it was worthwhile.  ;)

I bought my graphic card online from a PC shop, and I added it to my computer.

My computer was custom made, that's why you can't see the manufacturer's name and model.  ;)

No mines a laptop Gibby
So that's why I can't upgrade the card  :-\
It's physically built in

I suppose that's the thing really, the perennial laptop problem, component upgrades.
