Why does everyone but me get snow! We usually have like 3ft by now. :(

Building my new diorama tomorrow. Gonna do as much of it as I can by myself.

*Note, still needs his grandpa to teach him how to weld*

I made sure those straps weren't going to come off. 70-80MPH + Plywood = Kite!

Ice is a problem, snow not so much. But we have alot more plows.

These are some of my favorite pics a friend of mine that is on the DOT crew took.

You guys get lots of snow, so the Government can afford to invest in massive snow ploughs,

But over here, there is no point - Shifting 3CM's of snow

They just put grit on the roads when it's icy, here...

They actually invest in plows, not ploughs. LOL

We are the only state in the US that uses chemical de-icer instead of sand/salt (grit), less corrosive then what the other states use. Snow = traction, ice = no traction (until -40f I hear, but it never gets that cold here)

Some people will call a snow plow a PLOW, while a plow for like farming would be a plough.

I call it the BIG *** THING ON THE FRONT OF THAT TRUCK COMING AT ME!

"A snowplow (also spelled snow plow, snowplough or snow plough, see miscellaneous spelling differences) is a vehicle, or a device intended for mounting on a vehicle, for removing snow and sometimes ice from outdoor surfaces, typically those serving transportation purposes."

 :P

Though personally, I prefer this sort of plough...Since it's the one I was always used to seeing

Then you get a wiff of this thing coming down the road...

To deliver his gifts in one night, Santa would have to make 822.6 visits per second, sleighing at 3,000 times the speed of sound. At that speed, Santa and his reindeer would burst into flame instantaneously.

Look at how many bolts are in these blast doors at NORAD Base Cheyenne.

Edit:

Guess I will go to bed.

It's Russian I said.

And Stu 'accidentally' locked the other topic for a reason. To try to continue it on another topic is irritating and, i think, against the rules.

I'm going offline now, Merry Christmas everybody! bah humbug.

EDIT: for obvious reasons I won't be on tomorrow, and possibly Boxing Day, but afterwards i will be.
