Sorry Jack, no offence.
But exams are a waste of time *IMHO*. I remember doing business A level and getting an A just for waffling on for 3 pages about how I'd set up and market a golf club... Try setting up a REAL business with 3 pages of waffle.
However, I think I should quantify my comment; I mean it more directed at the arty subjects more than sciences.
English- most A level students don't know the difference between verbs, adverbs, nouns, pronouns, slices of toast. DON'T get me started on drama and media studies
What are you studying, Jack? (PLEASE don't say drama or media studies...)
As for me being at school? Most people say "Tell you what, lad. Enjoy your school days, thay is (sic) the best days of your life, they is (sic)." (imagine that in a Derbyshire accent, with a whippet and a pint of Theakstons). I say that is total effluent and your best days are when you leave that fleapit of the education department.
BTW Do all teachers insist on being disestablishmentarianists? Hate all forms of authority, dress scruffy, learn little of their subject and display no backbone- and to top it off, they wonder WHY kids don't respect them... I have no idea...
