I was a bit surprised when I read "briefER history of time". that IS supposed to be the English version of it... I hated it at A level and only got C but now it fascinates me, even if I can't work out the maths behind it.

A=FR2 where A= Anger, F=Frustration and R= amount of Reading you do, squared.

Evening guys!

Just got back from the Nautical College...Signed up for the Day Skipper course, lasts for a few months ;D Start it at the end of this month.

Just got all my bits ready to go, I had a chart plotting kit from 2-3 years or so ago, But I never really used it, but it's come to use now anyway.

I'll let you know of my progress when I start anyway! I met my "Teacher", he's awesome :lol:

The longest peditrian bridge in the world is going to open October 3rd in my area! Its 6,767 feet long (approximately 1.25 miles) and the top of the bridge deck is 212 feet above the water  ;D www.walkway.org (http://www.walkway.org)

Haha yea keane I was reading that in one of my dads boating magazines...title...Walkway over the hudson Pretty Sick eh!! I wouldnt really want to walk that far ill pay the 5 bucks for a ferry :doh:

Where abouts is it up by the Tappan Zee and the GW? Thats a ways up...im more by where stuff actually happenes on the hudson  :doh: Actually out of one of my class room windows I can see where the towers used to be...very odd :(
