Hi All,

Couple of things we still need people for:

* A couple of people to write a few short news articles for the new Ship Sim News page.

And now we need a budding artist!

Unfortunately due to other commitments, Fred is unable to produce the cartoon "Old Nick and Bernard" for the magazine anymore.

If anyone is interested in continuing the Old Nick and Bernard series please either reply here, send me a message or send an email to shipsimmag@googlemail.com :)

Thanks!

Hi All,

This is the last call for anyone would like to contribute to the SSN page.

I'm not willing to spend time putting a page for it together when there are others areas of the magazine that need attention. If no interest is shown then it simply will not go ahead.

Thanks,
Mike

As usual an unusal piece of masterwork. How did you pull it off, (again) Mike?
Sadly enough I have to stop printing it out in full colour on Glossy Paper. It will cost me a small fortune on ink only.
But folks, if you only could see what a quality work it is once printed on that kind of paper, it's ready to sell in every bookstore, and I'm almost sure, Mike, it would give you a pretty rise of your monthly pocket-money.

I salute You!

Cheers McG, thanks again for your help, not just with the User in the Spotlight and review, but for checking over the various hovercraft pages for mistakes as well! :)

Without the members the magazine would have not been able to expand so, everyone who contributes really helps!

I decided to tot up the amount of people who have contributed to the magazine over the 7 months or so it's been going, and so far, 32 seperate people have directly contributed. :)

Hi All,

For the April issue I intend to renew the information and ads seen on the newsdesk page, as I feel some of it is a little out of date.

The old ads can be put in again if you wish, however they may be smaller to make way for any new ads. Likewise, if anyone hosts a server or you host any of the current servers featured and would like the information to be updated please let me know.

Please either post here, send me a PM or send an email to shipsimmag@googlemail.com :)

Cheers,
Mike

Hi All,

Work has just started on Issue 8 and I am now looking for someone to produce the ship review for April (Like the ones in previous issues).

It can be a ship of your choice as long as it hasn't been reviewed before in the magazine. If you are interested please either reply to this topic, send me a PM or send an email shipsimmag@googlemail.com.

Help on this from anyone would be much appreciated! :)

Is this for the ShipSim Model?

If so what vessels are left?

It might be easier if I list the vessels that have already been done: :)

  • Pride of Rotterdam
  • Titanic
  • Ocean Star
  • Elbe
  • Jumbo Javelin
  • Freedom 90

Would you like me to put your name down for the May issue instead?

Which issue did Titanic get reviewed in?
I was thinking she would be saved for April, her month of her first and last voyage. :-\
