How much I enjoy the Ship Simulator...
« on: August 29, 2009, 23:23:46 »

I would like to thanks the developers of this wonderful program.  The realizim and quality of the program as well as keeping the price affordable.

I do miss however being able to click on a waypoint and get a view of the area that I am going to be going to, we used to be able to do this in 2006 and I have not figured out how to do it in 2008.

I am looking forward to the warships in extreme any any other ships that I can add to my current purchased programs.

Hi Gordon, welcome to the forum..
There won't be any warships in SSE, you'll have to make do with normal ships.. :captain:

Well... I have been hoping for warships in this game for some time now...  If they show them in the trailer you would think that they are in the game.  Otherwise that would be mean and too much teasing.

If they have them in their then I will be lined up waiting to purchase the new version...

You don't mean lined up at a local store, do you?

Because there are two issues in that case.

1) Unless you live in a harbor city or town, there is unlikely to be a line for a Ship Sim game ;D

2) North American release is months after initial launch. Get the first version is my suggestion, possibly even the download version.

Being in Illinois and a fair distance from the Great Lakes, I see no one around here with an interest in the game.

When I mean lined up I do mean downloading on the day of release...  I did purchase SS2006 in Future Shop here in Canada but I have never even seen a second copy of it, all my other versions of the game have been purchased online from ShipSim.com...

I also have an interested in Scale Model Ships so I have been promoting the game to others  with the same interests in the area.  There are alot of ships in this game that members have built so it is an easy addition to the hobby.

Is there an estimated month that SSE10 will be released ?

All that has been said so far is Q1 of 2010, so that's January - March next year  ;)

Not long to wait if you think about it, but dates can change..
