Tug and Tow hull strength
« on: August 28, 2009, 01:13:42 »

Can we get the hulls of the tugs and the hulls of anything they are able to hook up to for manuvering strengthened. Should be able to put a barge or other steel hulled craft on the hip of a tug and not sink either one just buy applying forward thrust on the tug. The way it is now is unrealistic.

Thanks for feedback.

As it is current, "bumpers" do nothing to protect the hull and pretty much any tap can damage the other vessel (Except the Arrie Vissor & Pilot Boat).

I wish VSTEP will change this also, as it is currently, the only real way to have realistic towing is to turn damage off, and that isn't realistic.

That's funny, I don't have that problem.

(And I recently found out that my Pushboat is indestructible)
