Suggested forum feature
« on: August 23, 2009, 11:29:49 »

Since this forum is a common system used elsewhere, has anyone ever come across a feature so that you can block or delete certain topics?

The idea is if there is a collection of perfectly pointless posts that you don't want to find keep appearing on your 'recently updated' list you can ignore it.

I think it would be a good idea if it worked. I can think of some topics that I can put straight in it...

No, I've never come accross a feature like that, maybe someone else has, but I never have, after trawling through all the downloadable features at the SMF site.

Nope, not a modification available.

However, when SMF2 is out of RC status and is recommended for public forums, you have a feature where you can ignore a specific board, but not specific topics.
