Hi Cal,

Hull is made of Fibre Class, as for everything else, the majority is wood. The Superstructure is all wood, except for fixtures such as rails etc.

She's a hand built model, not a kit :)

And, as Mike said, she was built by an old friend of mine at the local club, he's been building models for years. He was moving house, and needed to (Unfortunately) get rid of some of his models. I was at the right place at the right time, and I bought Hibernia from him  But I do take very good care of Hibernia, every time she's been in the water down at the lake, I bring her home and wash the hull down, as well as re-greasing the bow thruster tube, and rudder/prop/shaft.

Jack.

What amazes me on this case is when someone has an hour, or a day, or on this case, a week or more to take the  pictures.. how on earth the result can be so out of focus like the first picture showed?
The creation is whatever awesome, but some of the pictures does not emphatize that.
Pictures maybe taken by some cellural equipted with 'carl zeiss'(tm)-lens, in a hurry after the lunch break. :)

I'm not being rude here, just waiting to get more detailed pictures of the beauty.

Here is a picture of my tug Amsterdam.
The hull:

And the superstructure:

Long way till its finnished.
I think I still have more then a year of work on it.
Right now I am busy with all the rc stuff.

She is one meter long and scaled 1:50.
And allready much to heavy.  ;D

Irishjack, is that a kit, or did you completely build her from a plan?

Jack.

I just got it, so I need to build and paint her before I show on here.

EDIT: I've started on my Titanic model so I hope to finish her soon.  Rigging is a nightmare.

Nice tug!

She's a hand build, built from the plan of the Original, real tug. Along with a lot of re-search.

Have you got a building log or something from her?
Biceaus I like to read those and learn from others.

I am keeping one of my tug (but then in dutch).
