Aveiro's Port
« on: July 29, 2009, 19:28:50 »

Hi guys,

I made this topic to show to you some of my photos of Aveiro's port.  :2thumbs:

I live very close to this port, so sometimes I spend sometime taking photos to ships that are entering or leaving the port.

I hope you like it ;D

To start with, the port site:

I hope you enjoyed this little trip around one part of the Aveiro's Port. Ohh, I forgot to say, that day was the Portuguese Navy day, thats why you see warships, and this trip was aboard of the warship NRP Pégaso:

I will post later some pictures of other ships, if you like.

Regards.

I remember in 1997 & 2006 I was on her ~ near sister - the Kruzenshtern which is only 3 meters shorter than Sedov.

Yes indeed, I love her in black ;D

I hope tomorrow I can go aboard to take some photo of the interiors, last year it was impossible, too much people as you can see.

Thanks for the photos of the Sedov, Tneves.

I saw this fascinating ship back in 2001 or so in the Bay Of Biscay. I was on PO Bilbao and we came up alongside the round the world tall ship race/convoy??? We came really close alongside the Sedov- is she still in Portugal? It would be great to see it again- a fascinating sight when under full sail.
