I am a new member and i bought ship simulator 2008 just 3 das ago!

i hav some questions and i hope you can answer them!

1. is there any user generated content existing?

2. is anyone working on a new map (terain ) ?

3. are there any mods existing

4. are there groups which are working for new things i am quite good in sketch up ( i think i´m able to build models to)

Hi, welcome to the forum.

1. The user generated content is all available in downloads off the main website. Some is included in patches, addons and radio and horn sounds are in a seperate pack. You can also download stuff from the Shipyard.

2. The only new environments we know of that are being worked on are for the next verson SS Extremes.

3. Answered in Q. 1

4. Not really, but if you are a good modeller ask an admin like Mad_Fred for the official guidelines for making ships for the game. It MAY have a chance. If not use Non SS08 projects board.
