is Vstep dead?
« on: July 23, 2009, 23:31:36 »

It seems to me that v step is dead. reason one the newest ship in the shipyard is JJ . Reason two, the news in the news release has nothing to do with the ship sim and the news is old?? The latest news that has something to do with ship sim was posted more than 2 months old. so V step is dead or what??

OK Wave music...

OK..... So you (not anyone specific) are now MD/CEO of Vstep...

"Here people is XYZ of partially completed ABD"...

And people will reply "rant rant rant... Not good enough. Would be better if..." I'm sorry but I can understand why they don't keep people informed (not saying I AGREE with it).

Perhaps if people were more mature about how they deal with Vstep then they might start talking to you.

Yeah, I'm totally agree with Ballast about that thing:
You change your name more often than ships do!

My apologies for the mess...  But that's only available 30% of infos, so say "Thanks for caring about our brains!"

I think Vstep could make more on the home page. The old one had Mounth picture contest, top 10 players +++... They can make more out of that site so it gets more intresting to visit it...

V-STEP is far from "Dead".

To me, this is a sign that V-STEP are had at work, and not faffing around with the website, or advertisements and such.

V-STEP are busy working, and V-STEP are still there - Just wait for SS Extremes ;D

The Ship Sim Pro website was down for maintenance and now its down all together, so are you sure they arn't faffing around with websites?  :D

RIP VSTEP
Do you really think that is going to encourage them to talk to you?

I am neither lacking Marmite or humour...

If you just stop and think about it for a minute... Do you really think that this topic will inspire Vstep to be more open? I damn well don't.

Quite frankly, I'm amazed they haven't closed this forum.

No, I see Stu's point of view - and agree with it.

It's a silly pointless topic tbh :P
There are times and specific places to have humour.

No, not really. It was a legitimate question; it is some of the answers that are a bit questionable.

No, I see Stu's point of view - and agree with it.
Cheers Capt' D.
Stu, you're trying to raise an argument, aren't you?
On the contrary, I think I am being very polite to you. If I wanted an arguement you would be left in no doubt at all. So, shall we all move on then and enjoy life free from pointless drivel? ::)

Yeah... Let's keep it all nice and civilized, shall we?  ;)

Some people could probably do with a bit of actual information about Vstep and their work. Visit www.vstep.nl.

Let me reassure you all. They are not dead, they are doing very well actually. They are extremely busy with the Pro version and the next game version. And apart from that, they do have other projects too, this is not just about shipsim, they have made dozens of pieces of professional simulation software.
