Okay , I've been looking for new boats for SS08 all night but I can't find anything for download or buyable..
Is there another website or another topic that the finished boats exist in?

Well, a lot of these don't really make it to the game, and some of the ones that do are included in the shipyard, the game itself, or the addon. For example the pushboat was made by our finest modeler, Goax.

That has been a heavily discussed subject since SS06 came out. If you search the forum, then you can find a lot of information on that.

Ok, here is an update. I understand that texture issue, I will fix that. I added some depth to the windows.

It is a very versatile vessel, and yes, it can be used in rescue operations. I might post an update later today.
EDIT: I have begun to get the bridge ready for interior modeling. I can't post an update because it is on my laptop and I have to pick up a new transfer stick. :)

Hehe...yes. I am going to post an update in a few minutes. (After I finish this pizza)
 ;D
OH! Almost forgot. My brother installed the motherboard on my old laptop and I have Adobe Photoshop on there, so now I can make nice textures! ;D
I would really be happy if it had 3d studio max on there...or Maya...haha.

Thanks Jack, I wish I had faster progress though TBH. I should post an update in an edit in a sec. I just have to look at that PDF...
EDIT: Sorry if I post some updates late, I seem to have lost that PDF.
Another edit: I found the PDF. I have started on the bridge interior. See that desk? That is for the controls.

Nice.  One question though - why your model (& other your models in Blender) looks so "grainy" or is that a texture of paint?

I was waiting for someone to ask! This is the result of a lighting called "Ambient Occulsion". It is similar to a clay render. I can make it look more realistic, but that would take way to long to wait for a WIP render. So this is a dirty version of Ambient Occulsion. (AO) ;)
