Terry, why do you think Firefox is not very good? I find it to run perfectly, much better than IE. IE runs so slowly and takes forever to actually 'find' a page
Actually, I didn't say that. Like all software, it has bugs. It has some nice features that I wish were in IE. But I have some specific uses for a Browser which it's present set of bugs make difficult for me.
IE works at least as fast as Firefox for me, probably a little faster actually. It doesn't crash, it doesn't hang. So therefore there is no reason for me to not use it.
I keep Firefox for testing my sites and to ensure a good level of compatibility. Between the two browsers, that covers all of the users of my sites, except a tiny minority and there is no financial justification to waste time on those people. If they can't access the site, they'll have to swap browsers. Economics rules!
If I have a problem, I assume that there is a cause, and I go and sort it out. It is always down to something caused by another piece fo software (generally a registry error, but ocassionally a dll problem. Like "questviwer errors" that aren't, the problems laid at IE's doorstep are usually due to something else.
