I love how FireStar Restrained himself from talking too much about himself!!!

Name: Shane
I love the Titanic and her two sisters! Love making animations too! I am also a 3d modeler (Ignore my Google Ketchup models, I don't use it anymore. It is great for beginners though but Ketchup just doesn't have enough options to satisfy me. I know exactly what each button does and how to use it. If you have any Google Sketchup questions, ask a pro like me. I might not be able to answer it though, I have not used Ketchup in a long time. I am working on a model of a ship. Can tell you guys though! : P It will have to be a surprise. I just wouldn't want to get anyone all exited if it doesn't happen. My biggest problem with 3d models-finishing them lol. I always get exited when I start a new project-3d art is my life! A lot of times people out there think that they can't model. Its not that. Anyone can do it! It just takes time! Do you think that I just got on and started modeling? No. My early models sucked. But just practice. Look at objects in your house or in your car, or even on a bus and think. "How would I model that?" It is the key to all 3d modeling. Without thinking, you can't do modeling. You never have a chance. You also need a lot of math skills. Maybe not in programs like Google Ketchup but for me and all the other modelers with more complex programs, you have transform properties and world space. I try to make every day a happy one. I am like, obsessed with ships, to me, I don't see how anyone else could NOT be lol. I love everything about ships! They are amazing. The SS United States could travel faster than all of our ships today! (SS United States is from the 1950's and can travel at up to 50 MPH!). I mostly model ships. They are fun, but modeling them can represent a number of challenges. You have to be careful and clean up overlapping faces, (They cause flickering between two different material colors), and making things like stairs can be challenging to! You have to merge several different points on the model, and if they are not merged, then when you find yourself getting upset over it not making a face when you hit F. lol. My favorite part of modeling: Texturing the model. Even though I suck at it I love it. Textures are the part that really bring your model to life! That and clay renders. lol.
Country: United States
Interests and Hobbies: I love Titanic, Britannic, and Olympic, 3d Modeling, SS United States. All that. The only Spambot I need are ships lol.
Movies and Shows: The Mothman Prophecies, ship documentary.
Music: Um...all sorts. I have the most odd interest in music of all the people you will meet lol. I like 50's jazz, and all sorts of today's music (Excluding Rap and Country). I like stuff like James Horner, I like the song Apologize, White Flag, and one of my favorite songs was published in 1911. lol. I have a VERY Strange music life.
Books: The Mothman Prophecies, Warriors, all sorts of Titanic stuff, a basically any ship stuff lol.

Oh god...that was my older cousin, she got on my account (I have auto login) and she always teases me about how much I like Titanic, (And how much I hate Miley Cyrus) so she thought she would make me look like an idiot. Of course, that never happened, as I blow away some posts...

EDIT: Thanks WM, for finding that for me, I was having trouble locating it.

WM: Can you add a poll to this thread so we can actually vote on which is the most pointless thread, please?

AND Can you make allow multiple selections... as there are several very worthy-pointless topics to vote for...

Apologies. For some reason I thought you started it. Ignore me; when you get to my age you'll start losing the 'old grey matter' too! :(

Old enough to know better. Young enough not to care about knowing better.

The average life expectancy for a bloke in the Western world is 78... so whatever age you come up with has a 1.28% chance of being correct.

You have guessed a 10 year (11, really) margin so there is a 12.82% chance you are correct... But also a 77.18% chance you are wrong. Your call.
