This is an old topic, can put bigger waves, go ShipSim2008 Userdata and thence Weatherpresets_EN. It is XML file.

You could make the waves bigger in version 1.1 if I can remember but not in the versions after I believe.

Btw, what's the need of waking up a very old topic?

The shape of the waves is rank, by the looks of the model they look like Tsunami waves minus all the splashing each time they hit an object so glad SSE came out
