Hello Jazz,

There is not a lot of information about the exact specification of the multiplayer system. But if you type in multiplayer in the search box above you will find it has been talked about a lot.

There are many questions that have been asked, with answers that are a little vague but it might give you an idea.

Also www.mpssclan.co.uk is an online multiplayer site dedicated to shipsim which has been started by a chap here known as DJM.

Any more than that, I can't help you much at the moment.

Yes. There will be a free multiplayer patch for those who have bought the game. Please read the FAQ:

"Multiplayer
Probably in the last months of this year a free patch will be provided to give the player multiplayer functionality."

I see, but like, will it be officiall servers or can you hosat them by yourself? Will it be free roam mode + ship routes and missions or?  ???

I think you had to past you SERAIL to game it online! :) And mabye VSTEP will make a littel program ho chek if the game i real! and not a bad copy from the crack'ers!  ;D

Yes, but it is possible to copy and distribute ilegal key codes. Which is why Vstep have been very clever with their copy protection. I'm afraid I can't repeat the piracy prevention systems that they have in place, but anyone who tries to use a fake keycode will be 'unable' to do so. Permenantly.

Modern keycodes are a complicated set of algorithms and there are systems in place to automatically catch and prevent ilegal keycode use. Again, I can't repeat what I was told.

Apart from the theft aspect of pirated software, it can b****r your system big style. so PLEASE remember everyone do NOT give your keycode to anyone- even close friends/family... Piracy=lower sales. Lower sales= no addons, development etc.

Look, using ANY pirated software is a big risk- do you really TRUST anyone who pirates software? Are they generally trustworthy people. No, of course not. End of.

On-topic: MultiPlayer sounds very good, it could get very interesting on the servers! Hopefully most people will be serious, and not crash into others all the time...
