Walking The Red Eagle Car Deck???

When I first got my ship sim, I could swear that I walked the car deck of the Red Eagle, but now that I try to go onto it, I cant seem to be able to.

Can someone please explain how to get down onto the car deck?

As far as I know, you cannot..  and never could.. But I got the game allready patched to V1.1, so perhaps in V1.0 is was different, but I suspect it wasn't, cause why take that out, since that would not make much sense.. 

I'll have a look ingame, perchance I missed it (I don't sail her much, and I'm not really a walkabout kinda player), but I'm rather sure it's off limits..

So far as I know, the only way is to drive on and then get out of the car.

I’ve never found a way. There may be a hole in the collision mask somewhere that allowed falling down.

Just been on her for a bit, running into every wall, door, raling, nook and cranny.. but so far it seems that the collision model is solid..

Ive done that at the bows of titanic and agile solution. every so often theres just a glitch which allows you to fall through to the water. wierd

I remember seeing a Ship Sim '08 video on Youtube and somehow, on walkthrough mode, they were walking right through the cars on the car deck.

Ohhh, I don't use the Red Eagle often, so I coudn't really say to be honest.

But, the vast majority of ships seem to let you fall off somewhere, its called the collision model, isn't it?

The only ship that I've never fallen off of is the RPA 12, if I remember right. I know you can fall off the Sherpa, but it dosen't happen often, in all my time of using the Sherpa (which is pretty much all the time ), its only happened twice-Just at the bow.

Do anyone know that wall between the collapsible boat and lifeboat at the bow boat deck? I got passed the lifeboat davit and walked to that wall and I went through and land in the water next to Titanic.

Once I felt over from the deck of the Red Eagle in SS (can't remember how). Must say that the car deck is like "transparent" & isn't like that deck on which your walking. After falling, you're not landing on the car deck, but falling through it & landing on water. So you can't walk on car deck in that way.

What I think you mean by that, is that the walkthrough collision model does not cover that part of the ship.

Well, I guess if a ship's modeler really felt like it, he could make a collision model for that deck as an easter egg type thing maybe.

No, you can't do that in the mission editor. Only the ship's designer can do that, and he can only do it when he models it.
