Chill out music
« on: March 24, 2009, 00:29:02 »

Hello to all forum members :). There is another topic that has almost the same topic title of this, but is a little different. The other topic is about chill out pictures, so I thought that a topic coorilating to that would not be so bad. Here you can give links instead of pictures to a song that you feel is relaxing. It can be orchestral or any form of music, as long as it is peacefull ;D.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPflHWn9HN0 I've always found this to be a very relaxing tune, it takes me back to crossing the Solent on the Red Funnel vehicle ferries, watching the water ripple endlessly below me as the sun beams down on my head....<coughs> Sorry, got a little carried away there. It's just that, that's one of my greatest memories, one that I intend to relive in Ship Simulator 08 sometime later. :)

The song that I put was one my band was going to play for MPA's(Music Performence Avaluation) but we had a vote in the class for which songs to play. It ended up having Appalachian morning voted out, but I didn't know why. I really love the song, so I still listen to it. I think that it is a peacefull song :).

Transes are only the complete self-stimulation of the mind. To be put in a trance is to be completely focused on your mind and what your mind thinks, or to be completely focused on an objec or thought without any thought of anything else. Trances are often used in hypnosis. So no, self stimulation doesn't even qualify as music, let alone peaceful music ;D.

Have you not been in a nightclub at some point then??  ???

Do you know what trance music is like??  :)

I've never been at a night club.

You said does trance count as chill out music. I thought you meant an actual trance.

Trance sounds can also be sounds of nature, not just music, such as a waterfall or the rustling of trees or bushes.
