i guess firestar. when in free roam view (number 3 for views) when on a ship that will allow free roam, i was wondering if i could move any faster, then what allows at first(does this clear things up?

I think he wants to know if he can go faster when wandering around a ship.

You press either shift or control together with the arrow key. I can't remember if it's shift or control as it's been so long since I tried it.

Yep, it is shift. If you hold down shift, then you can run.

I must admit I haven't installed SS for about a year now. I've dug the box out and was going to load it up and have a play with it.

My greymatter is showing its age and I can't remember anything now...

i just tried the shift button when walking and it works
