its true though, school buses are among the most annoying loud uncomfortable ways to travel. They're hot, sweaty, sticky and smelly in the summer, wet and smelly on a rainy day. Cold in the winter, noisy from the kids and the bus itself, and not much room either. I'd rather get driven to school and picked up everyday (which i do) than take the bus, and i've got plenty of friends who agree and want i ride home :D

I mapped it, my school is 14.6 miles away, 26 minutes in a car.

Hey I might get some friends if I go to school in a huge truck.

Chaps, I reckon it's not going to be a very nice conversation from here on end..

So perhaps it's best if you guys leave it at that.

I must say Austin..  "hoping he dies so I can take over...", Really.. what kind of awful thing is that to say.. or even think.

This is why I'm glad that in our country, you have to be 18 before you get your license. If you think sick and weird stuff like this, your mind is probably not grown up enough yet to go out there with a ton of steel at the speeds you're allowed to drive on, cause that is really terrible, I have to be honest...

Teenagers, specially in the first few teen years are simply not in charge of their own body and mind yet.. you can't help that, it's just hormones and stuff.. But sometimes that makes us do stupid things at that age. And no matter how mature anyone thinks he or she is, we all get/had that.. And driving around with those kind of vehicles, well..  you never know when your hormones decide to make you push the envelope just a bit too far and makes you lose the bigger picture... And then it's not a truck, but a weapon..

Anyway..

Please keep it nice and friendly.

Fred

Exactly what I was trying to say Fred. You really do have a way with words. I think it's crazy to think that kids in america are driving around in cars. A car is a mechanical machine that deserves a mature attitude.

One of the main causes of deaths on the road is young teenages thinking they're invincible in they're supped up cars and trucks.

Sorry, but I think Fred has hit the nail on the head. Most kids do NOT have a mature attitude and especially when someone says something like Austin did - it's just sick and twisted. Judging from past experiences and without being nasty or offensive, I really don't think Austin is ready to be driving.

I'm saying no more.

Maybe they should be banned, apart from cycles, until they are 21 to help save the world which they are going to have to live in?

yet other people are driving at 15 and don't have problems, although we don't have to pass a test until we are 16.

You are honestly saying that at 11 years old you were taking the car out yourself? On the public highway? At 11 yrs old?

I never drove illegally stu, I can drive solo on my property, or anyone elses, if it is not owned by the state, county, or city.
