Hochseefischen... fishermans friend ?
« on: March 15, 2009, 14:23:04 »

http://www.astragon.de/product_info.php?products_id=256

I just discovered this title, and there's not much info about it at the moment even on the german forum (http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,13365.msg163173.html#msg163173)... Astragon "simmers" range from abysmal titles to genuinely fun ones, so who knows, this one could be an interesting little game. Should be released "soon" although german sellers on amazon say it's "in stock"... A demo would be nice. An english version too !

Is Astragon the same developer as from KranSimulator and BaggerSimulator? If so, i hope they did a better job then with their previous games  :-\

Astragon is also the publisher of ShipSim in Germany.

I thought astragon was the developer, not the publisher. My mistake!

Developer is Contendo, best known for their Garbage Truck "Simulator" ;D
I finally bought the german game, and... I'm sorry I started this thread. Hochseefischen is a boring low-budget game with primitive boat controls (feels like driving a slow car), top-notch shader effects over poorly modelled 3D, horrible sound, flat seas and... not much to do really, although in a tedious way. Might be good enough for young german casual gamers, but it's not worthy of a mention on the Ship Sim forums ! Sorry !

ah ok, sounded like a nice game, but the screenshots I saw weren't that good, thanks for telling though.
