looks sorta familiar...

i think the tower in the middle was a drill and they were gathering samples from the sea-floor?

i don't know what they said they were doing.

the Azorian Projekt was a secret opperation of the USA.

The Hughes Glomar Explorer at the United States Navy USNS Glomar Explorer (T-AG-193) search for the russian u-boat in a depth of 5000 meters.

The U K-129 was the target.

Official was: Search and pick up ores from the seaground.

At first the Los Angeles Times know the real story and then Seymour Hersh from the New York Times.
