What type of iron rivets were used instead of the standard No. 4 iron and steel rivets?
This rivet type made te steel plate open like a zipper when their heads popped off from the gental bumping.

Are you asking about the rivets on the

3rd tier of hull's steel plates above the waterline

or on the 4th tier?

The type of rivets used for the Curves of Titanic are the one's I'm talking about, the weak spots are the curves of the bow. Forgot to add this :doh:
