Yes Traddles, both SCHARNHORST and GNEISENAU were involved in the battle against the RAWALPINDI, but the armed merchant ship and SCHARNHORST were the only two ones which directly fought against each over.

Direct fight of an armed ex-passenger liner against a battle cruiser were very very rare during WWII.

Its a nice vessel the steering wheel is al large as the circle you make putting your indexfinger touching the tip of your thumb

In case time is up for that question, here is my question:
WSL and CL were two rival companies that merged when WSL was in despare. What is the full name of both of the ship companies and name what their name went to when they merged. for a bonus, there are four ships of CL that have the same names(one name for two ships). Name these ships.

No one answered my question. The answers are White Star Line(WSL) Cunard Line(CL). Together they are Cunard White Star Line. The bonus was the Queen Elizabeth, Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen Mary, and Queen Mary 2.
