It's in the past tense that she had a sister, that would be the QE2. With her 2 cruisesisters I meant the QE and QV. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough.  :-\

sanford already answered the question, it was the Queen Mary 2.

The Queen Mary 2 is an ocean liner, is not that old (not even 10 years), had a sistership the Queen Elizebeth 2 and has 2 cruisesisters; the Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.

So I guess, anyone to go next now....  :P

I was built in the late 1950's. I was bought by the United States Steel Great Lakes Steamship fleet. I became well known when I was the last to sail alongside the famous ship Edmund Fitzgerald before she sank in a November storm sometime in the 1970s (don't remember exact date). I survived the gale and I am still in service today with the USS-GLS fleet.

Who am I?

'I am a ship of aprox. 34000 GRT and I was built in the late 1940's in Scotland. My topspeed was 22 knots and I could accommodate 932 passengers. Unfortunatly, I was to be scrapped in the 1970's but never made it to the breakyards due to a bad storm where I wrecked on the breakwater near a port. Which ship was I?'
