3D Work
« on: March 06, 2009, 11:12:37 »

Hi guys,

Here's a quick example of some scenery I've been creating recently. I think it looks rather good If I say so myself  ;D

Let me know what you think ;)

Looks great! You making a game or something, looks like a nice path to ride a horse on, while carrying a sword.

Is there actually water or is that just an untextured trench? (If there is water that is some dirty stuff!)

Hi guys,

I don't know what I plan to do with the scene at the moment, it really was just a test idea to see what I could achieve.

Austin - The river is actually water and yes it is very muddy!!

I've also attached another image, this time bigger and hopefully better!!

Please give your comments and thoughts :)

Thanks Ncena1 but unfortunately I think it's a little far away to create a large harbour. I might create a small berth with a couple of buildings, but we'll have to see.

I'm still learning remember ;)

You could do a little ferry terminal or something, that would be cool

Nice work indeed,
Have you a idea how far you want to go with modeling landscapes??
You 're doing very well, maybe create something small, what can fit into the game.
Is the program that you work with, good enough for the standards of Vstep.
If so??maybe get intouch with them.Even when it's only to give more detail in an area. This means extra mooring place,or more detailed surrounding somewhere.
Anyway keep on the good work.
O,yea if you have your idea to do a small part for Vstep,we can get you maybe some pics of that area that you want to create.
