i know this is space way far away from ocean

but is it true that to many eclipses in a year will cause a black hole?

Nope.

Black Holes are caused by stars collapsing after they have exhausted all the fuel in the cores. They have to be large mass stars, much more massive then our sun. Gravity overcomes the radiation pressure, collapsing the core and sending shock waves crashing through the outer layers. The core becomes so small and dense, that the gravity is so strong that not even light can escape. The minimum radius is given by the Swarzchild radius.

Nothing at all to do with eclipses, which are just when the Moon passes in front of the sun (Solar) or when the moon passes through the Earths Shadow (Lunar)

Actually it's the Schwarzschild Radius. So-called after it's postulator, Karl Schwarzschild.

The Schwarzschild Radius is given by the mass of the black hole. It's "common name" is the event horizon, of course.

Hi Terry,
That myth may be due to the fact that a lunar eclipse produces a â€œblack holeâ€ in the star field. An iceberg can also produce a black hole.

Also, a black hole happens when my sister Crystal gets hungry. Everything within a 6 mile radius get sucked in.

Hmmm, there was quite a lot of concern as regards to the Hadron Collider causing some bother and sucking is all in

Silly I actually believed some of it, thinking about it now

But.....Man will eventually destroy earth, I don't think it will be in my time, or anyone elses time here, But I think that, earth is on a cycle, I think it is much older than we think it is, I also think that time and time again, life forms have been on earth, then eventually wiped out, whether it by there own doing, or by something else.

Thats just my opinion anyway.

That's because the LHC wasn't working at full power (not that anything will happen anyway) and now it isn't working at all.
I don't think the proton streams (if that's what you call them) were even lined up for a collision

The only thing total solar eclispes do that is weird is that they really mess up the rotations of a type of pendulum that I can't remember the name of. Normally they just swing and the earth spins round them, making it seem as if they spin, but when there is a solar eclipse their rotation pattern gets messed up somehow nd I don't think anyone knows why

Anyone here know about that?

Well, they say there is a blackhole in the middle of the Milky Way galaxy, but they also say that a moment that happens ever 25,800 years where the earth goes to the center of the galaxy, and that's in 2012!!!!

probably nonsense, but still, the scientests whouldn't lie... right? but there is also a massive solar storm predicted, and there is a hole in earth's shield from solar flares. ALSO there are alot of predictions of WWIII, and the mayan calender ends in 2012... am I really thinking this stuff is real?
