Defragmenting compressed files
« on: February 17, 2009, 17:23:23 »

Is there a way to do this? I was wondering because my hard drive is fragmented, I do a disk defragment with System Mechanic (basically the same as normal windows defragment). When I restart the computer, it comes up with a disk defragment, goes through with it and but because all the files are compressed it can't do anything. So I was just wondering whether there was a way to uncompress the files and defragment them. Thanks in advance

Hmm, I used defragment on my PC but I'm sure you can also defrag compressed files.
