MAKE 3D MODEL RENDERS

1.DOWNLOAD ESPERIENTGo to this site and download the second one (3.5 community edtion) http://www.esperient.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=112&Itemid=196
2. AFTER DOWNLOADOkay, so have you downloaded it? click on this icon in your desktop.
When you have done so, Esperient should look like this
3. GET YOUR MODELGo to
File and then
import obectsNow select your model. In my case, I am going to upload sketchup.
Now. Before your model is imported, a information panel comes up. For the
BEST RESULTS, look at my picture of the grid and assemble your grid to make it look like mine. Click on where it says "yes or No etc to change the option.
Outline Faces: NO
Import lines into seperate hierarchy: NO (should be disabled if Outline faces is set to NO)
Lines render order: 0 (Should be disabled if Outline Faces is set to NO)
Sketchup tessellation: YES
Create Default sketchup material: YES
Create UVW texture coordinates: YES
Create back faces: In same Node
Press ok. Hey look! Your model!
4. ASSEMBLYNOTICE: REMEMBER THE GRID WHEN YOU STARTED UP ESPERIENT CREATOR? YOUR SHIP MUST ONLY BE A LITTLE BIGGER THEN THE GRID IN ORDER TO FIT ON WHAT IS TO COME NEXT. ON SKETCHUP, THIS IS A VERY SMALL MODEL. THE WITH OF YOUR MODEL MUST NOT BE MORE THEN FOUR INCHES (SO THAT IS MUCH SMALLER THEN THE MAN AT SKETCHUP STARTUP) IN ORDER FOR THE BEST RESULTS. IF YOUR SHIP IS MUCH BIGGER THEN THE GRID, KNOW YE THAT THERE IS A SOLUTION. LOOK AT 4.B
4.a Okay. Look at this toolbar, and the tools numbered 1, 2 and 3.
4.b Click on tool
1, click and drag from the top left hand corner to the bottom right. This selects your model. Once it is selected, click on tool
2 to get this:
This is just like what there is in sketchup. You can experiment with it to make the ship look like its sinking etc. but if your model is larger then the grid, click on the yellow orb (sphere) in the middle and drag to make the model bigger or smaller.
5. FINAL TOUCHESGo to
File and then
Merge scene...Select the file called
WATER AboveBelowSurface In Program files, espereint, EspCreator, scenes.
And finally you should have a beautiful render
Now go to the left hand toolbar and click on the blue play button near the bottom
Isn't she beautifulYou can alter the waves with the wave tool (only works if you have pressed play)
