What is the difference between an american aircraft carrier and other aircraft carriers.

And you should look around, it will have to be a made up vessel, none of are armed forces would allow their ship to be modeled.

What missions can there be made for a aircraft carrier?

All they ever do is follow a course or turn into the wind.
And bridge view is verry poor, to manouver the ship in port.


But it would be lovely to see a navy patrol ship in the game.

It's just e-y-e-c-a-n-d-y *namy namy*, much eye candy in the latest games today, especially GTA IV (just playing it right now ).
Come back in year 2030 and look for a USS carrier...if we still are sitting here

There is one in a million we will get a warship in the normall SS.

Crysis already have a WERY well detailed aircraft carrier, many more times more detailed than the most detailed ship in SS.

I've been wondering aswell, it's kinda odd isn't it?   
And not all can afford to buy SS Pro. , guess i'll buy a cheap joystick and stick to a flight sim.
