and the wave-system from SS08-Professional

Actually, VSTEP announced right away that the Pro wave system was NOT the game wave system.

So it'll probably be somewhere in between, if I'd have to guess. But a lot better anyway, than what SS08 has now.  ;D

Fred

I hope they put Hull into SS10, as it's a bit stupid if the Pride of Rotterdam can't take her actual route and you have to invent fictional ones.

wat i would love to see in ss10 would be when you are doing a journey say from portsmouth to new york u can acutally cross the atlantic without getting the plz wait message when it loads up the atlantic basically i would like to see ss10 just like fs2004-x that would be awsome i know it would take a lot of time to do and probs require a massive engine to run it but still it would be awsome,.

I would love to see lights on the ships at night and realistic sinking instead of the horizontal sinking we have in SS08. And maybe even see the lifeboats being launched if the ship does sink.

I couldn't agree more!

Development should be spent on more important things.

Right. Sinking is for misfits  :police:, not for sailors  :D.

agreed, sinking doesn't need to be spectacular, the physics of the ship itself should be spectacular ;D

Sinking might be a no go but, at the other hand, I do agree that it would be cool to see that the lifeboats could be used.

The only lights that matter at night are the navigation lights. All other lights, particularly forward facing ones, cause the bridge watchkeeper/s trouble. In fog or mist they can be positively dangerous as the loom of the lights destroys visibility.

I'm all for the sailing, but it is a simulator, so why not have a more realistic sinking simulation too?

I also agree about the lights, but it would be nice to see the portholes lit up at night, especially on the passenger ships like POR and Titanic

I think we need there ships not only with full load but also in ballast and half loaded yes and lights in night would be very cool and in night you came to your terminal and then you turn in big lights

I think what naauriis ment are those big searchlights to illuminate the docks when there are no lampposts.
