Well, people arn't judging Bush because he is a republican, that isn't the case by any standards. What people are mad at him for is basicly ruining the economy and getting us into a 4 year war already that has killed thousands of our men. Now Obama has to finish the war and somehow make everyone happy by pulling our troops out at just the right time. His cabinet also was spending a whole bunch of money on themselfs for partys. He wan't the brightest man in the world too. Of all of the presidents we have ever had, he is the one that is made fun of the most, by democrats and republicans alike. The media actually called him making up words"Bushism". He can't say'Nuclear'. Instead he says"Nuculer". Also during the last press confrence, he said that the press may have"missunderestemated" him several times

Also with Obama's recent bill that was passed tonight, EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN IN THE SENATE voted against the bill, yet the bill was passed anyway. The chief republican also said to all of the republicans not to vote yes on the bill. Many people are enraged at that as well. Look where Obama is trying his best to come up with a bill to please everyone and all of the republicans won't even open up to the idea. Isn't it their brilliance that got us into this economic crisis anyway? I think that they should at least give the bill a shot rather than saying no at the first glimpse. Then they complained that it was a 600 page bill and that each page cost's 1 million each page because of preservation rights.

So now everyone knows where I stand

I was watching CNN last night and I was actually amazed by thier, once again, ignorance when I heard about it. Do they even want to get out of this depression? Their policy has clearly failed the last 8 years, now there is someone trying to actually make a change but they do not wish to give him even a chance and actually hope he will fail before he even really started.

It was the house of representatives, not the senate

I fail to see how Bush ruined this economy
2000-2001 we went into a recession, and how come that hasn't still been going on?
because he cut taxes, which always works to get the economy going
we are where we are today, because Bush tried to please the democrats in the house and senate who came in 2006, and passing liberal views after liberal views, we are in this new recession.
And Obama's liberal stimulus bill, it will never work, and it never will, we have learned from history that things don't work for a reason. this bill is to basically give the government more power over the people, you know what that is called? Communism, that doesn't work, and you think Bush is a bad speaker?, without a teleprompter Obama cannot even say a complete sentence without saying Ummm several times.

Sorry, got the powers messed up.

Well he doesn't have to please anyone. As long as a system works, then it pleases everyone. He ruined the economy because we have a huge national debt to China and we are losing money and jobs. If he didn't ruin the economy, then the stock market wouldn't have plumeted and we wouldn't be losing the auto industries and many other buisinesses.

President Bush was also rated the 2nd worst president, according to poles.

Right before the American civil war, the south branched together and created the Confederacy of America, named after the articles of confederation which they adopted. The articles of confederation stated strong state govornments, and less power to the central govornment. This tactic contributed to why they lost the civil war; their govornment did not have enough power.

So with that being said, a strong central govornment is not a bad thing, and Obama is not considering communism because he also knows that it doesn't work.

Everyone has those during speaches, including Bush. They are required to have it bcause they need to have their speeches at a good view. And Obama doesn't say "um" every sentence. I have seen him durning press confrences, and he does not say um close to every sentence. Everyone says um in some sentences, but not all of them. I think its better if you say um in a sentence than making up words which don't even exist in every press confrence.

To say that the democrats don't want to get out of this recession is just an ignorant statement. Thats like saying that the republicans want us to stay in the recession; it just doesn't make sence. If the democrats didn't then why is Obama making all of these bills? Why has he gone on for the past 2 years having "Change" in his banners while campaigning? It's either he is a really dedicated mastermind trying to crumble the country or he is a devoted person trying to do what is best.

I know it is a recession (and what it is and means) and not a depression what we have at the moment.. I have no idea why I wrote depression, I think my head might have been somewhere else at the time lol

I live in england and I am 10 so I don't know much about Bush. But I would just say it must be the worlds hardest job, because you can never please everyone. So give the man a bit respect

lol, you must be one of a few Europeans who thinks like that... I know most of them really dislike Bush and his policy (I am/used to be one of them lol).

The point of becoming a president is a hard job, yes, but there comes a point where when everything gets out of line, then there is an excuse to get mad. If the british parlament was making the economy suffer, then people would be mad, wouldn't they?

Personally I think he would get a lot more compassion if he would actually admit that he was not always right with his policy the last 8 years but, instead, he is still fully backing everything up he did.. I guess you can't change stupid.

Well actually at his last press confrence, he was asked to state things he thought went wrong in his presidency, and he did admit to the failed policies and Iraq and everything. Thats when he invented the word" missunderestemated"

Everything in life has its complications but perhaps we just need to trust governments and work with them as a nation and not argue because we are only thinking about the short term affects. I think the press are to blame for most things. For example;
The press publish that northern rock is in danger, Everyone rushes out to withdraw money, Northern rock collapses, it is believed that if everyone would have just continued as normal with banking there it MIGHT not have collapsed.

So work as a nation to trust and support the government, at the end of the day the people voted them in.

Well some economists believe that if instead of rushing out to with draw funds from the northern rock when the danger was first published last year, if people would have just let the government plans happen and trust them, there would have never been an issue.
Others believe it was bad from the start.

Well, Bush is not an idiot, as many would perceive him to be, he was not well liked because a majority of the people that voted for his approval were people who disliked him, as in any questionnaire(the people who are angry are most likely to respond.) And he was booed at the Obamapaloosa because almost everyone their thinks Obama is the new messiah and will save our economy and help world hunger, and we will all hold hands and sing, but, they are just clinging to this very exaggerated tale that our main stream media has come up with. Promises of Hope and Change, very vague words that could mean almost anything to anyone, and that is why he won, Obama made over 500 promises during his campaign. Bush did the best he could during his 8 years, and I thank him that there hasn't been another terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11 and for getting us out of the recession that followed that disaster,
basically all that I have said would never been said anywhere else, because that is not what MSNBC, CNN, CBS, what you to hear, they want you to praise Obama, and keep drinking the Kool-aid
