« on: July 25, 2007, 11:47:46 »

i have 2 unanswered questions about sinking in the next patch, that i asked a several times but no answer.

1, how fast sinks a ship? (i hope not so fast)
2, can you walk on board while your ship is sinking?

I can say you this:

My Red Jed 4 is sunk because 4 meter waves on the atlantik was to much. If the ship is under water, you cannot stear, you cannot go on the bridge, on you cannot walk around. The ship is gone and the cams are fixed on the place over the water. Also the Red Jet was sinking very quickly in this situation. I think you can try this also. Start a free mission with 4m waves on atlantik and use the redjet. Sometimes it sinks sometimes not.

Do you think that the Titanic will sink how it did if you hit an iceberg?

well, i don't care much about the titanic sinking, and of course it won't sink the same as in real, but the normal sinking thing is a big point in my eyes.

Regarding the exact nature of sinking, nothing is confirmed yet, we may just have to wait and see ;)

Either you sink and you are then in the rescue boat at the closest port. Or you sink and it says "Your Dead Try Again"

And maybe the sinking rate is based on how much damage is below the water line?
