Hi Aad.

Could you translate this for me, please?

I have removed the link, as I did in the English language post that Tom made earlier. I take a very dim view of such spamming.

I have also warned that I will consider strong action, including banning, for anyone who does anything similar.

[update]
Apparently this is a pyramid selling scam.

If enough people click on the link, someone (Tom, I assume) gets his free iPod. You need to pay three pounds to claim your "free" iPod. Then you need to drive others to the site and pay three pounds,. When enough of them have done that, you get your "free" iPod.

Each of the people paying their three pounds then have to get a huge number of other people to click on their link, and pay three pounds. And so it goes. But they can't all get enough people, as there aren't enough people in the world.

This is pyramid selling. Those who get in first get the goods, but no-one else does. By the time you are in the fifth row of people to apply, you're simply fodder.

This type of scam is illegal in the UK, Europe and the USA, at least. It was banned over 50 years ago.

Hallo Allen,

Ik zal aan Terry's verzoek voldoen !

Could you translate this for me, please?

Tot zover de vertaling / glad to be of some help !

vr. gr. / kind regards, Erik

* Please note:  To access Technical Support, you will need to register your Ship Simulator licence key into your forum profile.  If you're not sure how to do this, please check the General FAQ's, or send a Personal Message to a Moderator.

The FAQ's and Announcements board.  Check here for answers to commonly asked questions.  Also a useful source for the latest information regarding Ship Simulator development - http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/board,1.0.html

Any other questions you have, the Moderating team are always on-hand to help you.  You can contact any member of the team by Personal Message.

And to answer your question;

There are three free vessels available for SS08, the rest is payware. There are no free environments. Check the main website to check out the addon "new horizons" and the vessel shop "The SHipyard". There you can also download patches. If you patch your game to the latest version (1.4.2) you will find two new vessels, a hovercraft and a jetski. Furthermore you can get the free "jumbo javelin" a heavy lift vessel, by registering your license key in your forum profile (which you have done, I see). So you should have a download link in your profile to get it. If you are unsure how to go about all this, feel free to ask, but please do not post in the wrong forum boards next time.

Thanks!

Regards,
Fred

- I'll lock this topic since it's useless anyway!
