That's right, but it's not soiling the sea anymore than the old days when almost all ships were coal powered.

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

And the article you linked to is about the fact that owners have agreed to STOP dumping ash into the sea.

I believe she is meant as a 'shadow support ship', though she could be used as a single yacht.
The top bridge is the Skylounge.  Toys for the rich and famous..  ;)

I thought so, the windows beneath it seemed more bridge-like.

Has this ship been equipped with a welldock like an LPD (Landing Platform Dock) has?

Not bad, i would rather have a design change rather than having those container carriers called 'Cruise ships'

Not as bad as a 'Rate that Ugly Ship' favourite: Pride of America (mentioned over 100 times in this topic)

and definetely not as bad as this 'Spider Boat' or catamaran whatever!

I saw this spider boat on Discovery channel. It has a range of 5000+ miles and a speed of 50+ knots (The quite I heard was 80 knots but I need to confirm this) It rides and conforms to the waters shape and cuts through large wave. And it can be configures for anything from Luxury Yacht to Warship. I want one.

That's pretty cool actually. Is it amphibious?

It's an amphibious bus for sightseeing in the Port of Rotterdam. Splashtours http://www.splashtours.nl/ is the owner of this bus.
