Topic: probaly a new bug: icebergs can not cause damage ??? (Read 7166 times)

i was playing the titanic mission, and when i was steering in the ocean i wanted to test the damage model of titanic, (ofcourse i know that ships can't sink yet) but i collide with every iceberg but my damage was still on 0%

maybe they cause damage but that you can't see it, but i thought it was a bit strange

I collided with an iceberg and got 0% damage also, but not doubt a fix is coming.

On another note, I had the PoR and collided with the Statue of Liberty island at full speed, and got 1% damage.

I was sailing the PoR, colided with a small private yach and got 99% dmg. The rudder, thruster and stb engine stopped working. lol

Well -they sort of can sink already - see my post about falling overboard. Also, when trying the Titanic last week in free sailing at New York it loaded without a visual model. the viewpoints were at sea-level and I could 'run' on the water in all directions. Howzat!

Did you not know Titanic was built as 'unsinkable'

I believe this is coming in the next patch? ETA 17th August.

what platforms are you all using to get such good graphics!?? mine are utterly dismal. the water just looks like a huge light blue mass made on paint...and my performance is terrible!

IÂ´ve tryed the Titanic very intensive, in have to say, the handling is very realistic now, grafiks are bettter than before. But you cannot make damage on this ship. It is realy unsinkable. But its ok because you cannot finnish the Titanic mission if she becomes damage....
