Queen Elizabeth 2
« on: November 27, 2008, 15:06:54 »

Now that the days of QE2 at sea are over perhaps she could be developed and added to the game . . .

Also I note on the latest Dutch Edition the liner Rotterdam is available - when can we expect that to be available to all ?

Regards

would be nice to have the QE2, but FYI the Rotterdam in the dutch collectors edition is only an AI ship with a few missions ;) They haven't made it drivable and last i heard theres no plans to release it on shipyard or anything.

It can be towed however, and I think it's a shame that VSTEP is making it a Dutch-only exclusive (according to the information I've read).

I think the chances of having QE2 are very slim indeed now ;)

1. Shes going to be a hotel, do you want a stationary hotel in the game?

2. I don't think Dubai would want her as a moving occean liner under the name of Cunard :P

We know that she is going to be a hotel, but she was once and to some, still is the greatest ocean liner afloat.  Just because she is going to be a hotel, doesn't mean we shouldn't have her in shipsim.

It would be nice to have the QE2 in game. Even if it weren't playeable, if it was static like the Rotterdam or Coromuel, especially if we had it moored in the right berth in Southampton or New York, it would be nice.

Edit: You would still need Cunard's permission to have Cunard on the side, mr robville

if she was in the game i think VSTEP would have a big problem with permissions and so on, shes no longer owned by cunard, and i doubt the new company would want their ship back as a cunard ship in a big game like this, i dont think she'll sail in the game, but she'll sail forever in the hearts of the people who loved her ;)

I'd like the QE2 to be added and I am a fan of her horn, very unique and iconic.
