Hi

Just happen to come across "work in progress" on You tube, and was wondering when the offshore crane operation/simulator will be added to 2008, or have I missed the boat (sorry about the pun)

In an early stage, the offshore crane was in development for ss2008, however it was left out in the final release of reasons that I don't know. I haven't heard of any plans that indicate that the offshore crane will be added to ss2008. Unfortunately.

Hi Jacob,

Thank you for the information. That is a same you could create a whole number of good scenarios (sorry missions) with the crane working on the Erik Raude / shore and not forgetting the Jumbo what fun we could all have!!!! Sorry what serious learning we could all have!!!

A crane would absolutely increase the possibilities when creating missions. As I said, I don't know the reasons why the crane was left out, but somewhere you have to set the limit for the release.

Fully agree with you, as I read through the forums on the what "we" would like the list it just gets bigger and bigger!!

There’s always the container crane, which you can use to load Vermaas and Sherpa. Unfortunately, you can’t unload with it.
