It was more of a dull,typical english school birthday

, windy,wet british weather,school, 'birthday beats'

now to be at least an hour and a half worth of homework

I didn't tell anybody at school it was my birthday once and they forgot

But one of my friends reminded them and the all suddenly "remembered" again.

That is not fair, we English have to wait until we are 17 to drive (maybe 18 soon)! I've got 1Â½ years to go, gah lucky Americans

Hmm it is different in different states here. I can get my permit when I am 15 if I am enrolled in drivers ed, (15 1/2 is not) and get my license when I am 16. In Idaho you can get your permit at age 14. I know in New York you get your permit at 16.
