Hi Hering,
No she was not a Victory conversion. Built by Doxford & Sunderland Ltd, at Sunderland, UK, Delivered 1972. 8 cylinder Sultzer engine, 18 knots service speed. Cost £2,387,803. Eventually sold to Thai shipbreakers as "Christina J." in 1994 and broken up at Bangkok.

Navy units would be great, with independent illumination, moving elevators and radars, anchors, satellite small boats, etc etc. Nimitz and Kitty Hawk class.

 :) :) :) :)

to wish is one thing, to get another

ithink we shouldnt set claims so high,
shipsim is a game and in game for common users who havent´higend computers für thousends of euros or pound or dollars it has to be playable

iknow something about highdsea fishing in the baltic and i know in the darkness ligths on board were reduced to the minimum for better seeing.
not serious: if the designer of ships for this game updated the TITANIC i wish a smoking fourth funnel and 200- 300 stokers.

hering,
I'm sure the fourth funnel was a dummy put there to make her look more powerful and beautiful!! That is why there is no smoke.

What kind of vessels would you like for Ship Simulator?
I would like an LPG (liquidlized petronic gas) carrier, because LPG carriers are my favourite kind of vessels.

Wasn't the fourth funnel where they would put the pets, or am I mixing things up...?  :)

As a guess, I would say you are mixing things up.

I always understood that there was a SMALL amount of smoke in stack 4 from auxiliary engines and the like. Again, I too could be wrong. It happens.

Olympic -all Vstep will have to do is change the name on the Titanic texture lol, oh and add her Wartime livery too.

Britannic -in her Hospital ship colors and a fantasy regular White Star livery as if she survived the war and re-entered service. Like a new feature if you are sucessful in saving Britannic during the War or any ship from it's "Doomed mission" You have access to its other Liveries. Sounds good to me.

Lusitania -both versions Green stacks with a yellow stripe down the side of the ship and the regular Cunard colors

Mauritania -in Cunard livery, Wartime livery and her White cruise-livery

Teutonic

Oceanic

I like to see some Customs or Coastguard ships in it. The dutch customs have some nice ships. The "Mantelmeeuw" or "Zilvermeeuw" for the Rotterdam Harbour and the "Visarend" or "Zeearend" for the Nordsea. If you do i have some good ideas for missions. Pls put them in :) ;)

i really like big passenger vessels, particulary the freedom of the seasm and liberty of the seas which are currently the world's largest cruise ship. It would make my playing experience so much more fun

I like navy ships. If you make a Frigate (Hr.Ms.de Ruyter for example) and an auxillary vessel (Hr.Ms.Amsterdam for example ) you coult do provisioning missions at sea. (see photo)  ;D ;)

Regards,

Ronald de Hondt

I definately agree with him  if we have ships like the ones from MSC = military sealift command .  we can do underway replenishments online and on mission..  heres a link that you guys can look at to look for model types.  hope this gives some new ideas  http://www.msc.navy.mil/inventory/inventory.asp?var=name  8)

I would like to see this ship  ;)

This one would be great, because we don't have any RoRo's right now! Well, to be honest, I asked the delopers about this vessel, because they got it within their own animation. I can't believe, but the very first answer was: "What kind of vessel should we have?"  ::)

Hopefully they can re-animate this one for us sometimes! (Here is a model of it pictured...)
